The Worship Group

Worship Band

Music plays a major role in the life of the church and especially in Sunday services. We seem to have been blessed with lots of gifted musicians over the years for a small village church.

The composition of the worship band varies from service to service. Sometimes a single instrument will play and at other times the music may come from a combination of keyboard, guitars (varied), sax, violin and voices.

Usually a band will be playing more contemporary songs/hymns at the Sunday morning meeting and the evening meetings will be more varied because we'd be just as likely to sing five Wesley hymns as a group of modern songs.

Members of the worship band and worship leaders try to meet on Monday evenings. These times are used for rehearsals and for fellowship/teaching in alternate weeks.
